Restoration of important works of the Clemens Sels Museum Neuss
Ker-Xavier Roussel’s “Arcadian Scene”, circa 1893, and Paul-Élie Ranson’s important folding screen design of 1892 are “shining in new splendour”. Thanks to the allocation of funds in the city budget, these two and other key pieces from our institution’s renowned collection could be restored in 2019/2020. For the first time we are now presenting the freshly restored paintings to a wide public.
